Niels Jorgensen served as an FDNY firefighter for nearly 22 years until a forced medical retirement because of the Leukemia he contracted from cleaning up Ground Zero.  In order to save his life, he was administered 2.5 years' worth of chemotherapy in 7 days.

To honor and commemorate the 20th anniversary of September 11th, Niels created the "20 for 20" podcast series, each episode focusing on a heroic tale from 9/11 with the goal of ensuring our country does not forget that fateful day and its meaning.
